understand God’s Word better by
knowing the Context & how Mega
Theme develops thro each book.
Since beginning of the year, we
meditated on the first 5 books of
Bible where God unfolds his Plan
for Man and Need of Obedience
to Him as well as Mark gospel
portraying Jesus as Obedient
Servant and Matthew gospel
portraying JC as prophesied king.
Last 2 weeks, we went back to
the times of Patriarchs and learnt
fr Job the meaning of true faith
in the midst of God’s sovereignty.
And as weekend beckons,
just a sneak preview that we
will meditate on Book of Joshua
over four sessions.
Joshua was committed to
obeying God, and this book
is about obedience. Whether
conquering enemies or
settling the land, God’s people
were required to do it God’s way.
And in his final message to the
people, Joshua underscored
the importance of obeying God.
We’ll cover Joshua over 4 parts:-
J1-5: Entering Promised Land
J6-12:Conquering Promised Land
J13-21: Dividing Promised Land
J22-24: Joshua’s Final Challenge
