Christ Our Example of Life of Faith
(Prayer Walk thro Heb 11-13)
Hebrews closes with an appeal for
a persevering Faith that relies on
the promises of God regardless
of the circumstances. Writing to
an audience whose actions were
being shaped by pressure from
the world rather than promises
from God, the author of Hebrews
urges the kind of Faith-inspired
walk that characterised so many
OT saints. These men & women
were so convinced of God’s
Faithfulness that they ordered their
lives according to His Word. Follow
their commendable example and
walk by Faith; and not by sight!
Dear Lord Jesus, Thank You
for all that You have done for us.
Thank You for being superior
over everyone and everything.
Thanks we can access directly
to You for help in our challenges.
Grant us confidence as we model
the pleas found in Hebrews 11-13:
that You Increase Our Faith in You;
that You help us Endure the Race &
that You Equip us Do Yr Will. Amen.
